It is a bridge between the real ring, the TrCRF in this case, and the virtual ring so it needs a bridge number. The router would not need to be directly aware of the TrBRF. The bridge number of the BRF would show up in incoming RIFs on that port, however, assuming traffic had to cross from on TrCRF to another before entering the router.
