Happy New Year All... Well, that's not what I am here for actually. I am having trouble with the older Access Server from Cisco, the 500-CS. I hooked up routers console ports to its terminal ports but occasionally I get the error message: Connection Refused by Remote Host. If I understand it correctly, this error message comes up when I try to reopen another connection on the pipe that already has an existing connection. Now, I can get into the privilege mode and use the command "clear line" and then and it works again. The question is that how can other users who don't have the privilege access use the command "clear line" or maybe better yet, prevent the error message before it starts. I think 500-CS run on IOS 10.2 or something like that so I couldn't set levels of permission.
