Hi all,

I was going thru the Lab 4 of IPEXPERT notes - IGRP/EIGRP.

I couldn't follow the reason why on Router 4's serial interface "ip
split-horizon" is given.

I understand that on FR cloud "split-horizon" is disabled by default on
FR physical interfaces and enabled on FR sub interfaces. If thats the
case, why shouldn't we enable it on Routers R5 and R6 which are also on
FR cloud and also having physical interfaces.

One thing for sure, is if I remove this "ip split-horizon" config from
R4, I see the network 150.50.24.0 flapping - The output of "sh ip route"
in R2 and R4 says connected/derived from IGRP and after a while it says
"possibly down" network. So much so, if you configure ip split-horizon
back in R4 - these messages go back.

Would appreciate if somebody could share their piece of thoughts.

Thanks
Rajesh
