The role I currently serve offers me little chance to configure/manage LAN switches. I was wondering if everyone can provide feedback as to whether they use static or dynamic VLANs. I'm curious to know which one is more prevalent. For those of you that manage campus type networks, I'm interested in knowing who deploys which. I'd like to hear real world scenarios to add to my reading.
