Hi,

Thank you for all your inputs. I have got quite a few responses over the
weekend and, yes, we are moving along toward the hands-on and collaborative
groupstudy using NetMeeting. We've got the 5 people on our first beta team,
and we are scheduled to work on Static Routing on Doyle Book this Thursday.

Again, thank you for all your interests, however, I apologize that this
section is already closed. I plan to start the Beta2 and Beta3 maybe Sunday
or earlier next week. We'll accomodate no more than 6 people per team, and
certainly no less than 4. The topic for Beta 2 would be Routing Information
Protocol (RIP) in Chapter 5 of Doyle. The topic for Beta 3 is not yet
decided but probably from a chapter from Caslow book. Please keep in mind,
if you can only eligible to sign up for a single section only, so that
others can take part in the beta groups.

You'll need NetMeeting version 3.01 or above, Doyle's Book, Broadband
connection (DSL or Cable, and sorry, no dialup please), MSN Messenger and a
Hotmail Account, and make sure your firewall will allow NetMeeting
Traffics. The ability to perform basic router configuration is also
expected. We won't be reading page to page on Doyle's book but we'll tackle
the lab parts on the chapter.

So if anyone is interested in participating in Beta2, please let me know. I
have got a few people signed up for Beta2 already and only a few more slots
are available.

Cheer,

Ed
