http://www.cisco.com/kobayashi/sw-center/sw-ios.shtml after you have logged on. Which image are you looking for ? The installable software for your 2900 switch is contained in the .bin file. The .tar files are release notes or special instruction files provided to instruct customers of special handling. Some notes are also provided in .html files that are compatible for viewing with a web browser. That means the .tar files do not contain any software that you can load to your switch.
