I am working with Dell TrueMobile AP1100s, Dell TrueMobile 4800s and Cisco AP350s right now. I have my access points configured with hard coded IP addresses. The wireless users have their NICs configured for addressing via DHCP. So they get DNS, WINS and the like via their DHCP request when they boot up. Are you getting a default gateway along with your IP address? Go to a DOS prompt and type:
ipconfig /all or winipcfg The access point can be a DHCP server too. Is yours configured that way?
