Hi all, When I was going thru the topics in BGP - distribute-list and route-map, I was trying to find out the differences between the two and where each of these commands would really be useful.
The following is the only difference that I could think of. ================================================= Distribute-lists can be used to filter incoming/outgoing route updates. Route-maps can be used to filter incoming/outgoing route updates and also modify BGP attributes. ================================================================== I would like to hear your suggestions, if I am missing anything beyond that.
