Will, I am trying to find the updated IOS on Cisco's web site. From the documentation on Cisco's web Site you should be able to upgrade the switch to the EN version by updating the IOS software. Also from my understanding and since the switch is for LAB and not business use, you should be able to use the updated IOS at no additional charge for testing and evaluation - read the EULA before downloading it and make sure of this. I just picked up a C2924-XL-EN and a C2912-XL-EN so I will probably be updating mine here in a few days.
