Hello folks, I am tring to figure out what RIPs "ip default-network" command actually does. If you have a router with:
router rip network 172.16.0.0 network 192.168.17.0 ip default network 192.168.17.0 and the network 192.168.17.0 is on a serial link to a second router. What does the ip default network do? I cannot seem to figure out why one network would be the default.
