let me try to explain a little better. Server - Has the ability to add and remove VLan's for a Domain. This will remove the vlan from all switches that are clients on the domain.
Client - Can't add or delete a Vlan from the Domain. All information about Vlan's is received from the Server. Transparent - Can add and delete Vlan's but only on that switch. No other switches in the Domain will be affected. I raised another question: if Woody is right, the portion of vlan 5 on the Catalysts configured as clients will also be removed, then my question is: Will all clients or just clients configured from that server-Catalyst which clear command is executed be removed?
