You are not the only one who erases bootflash instead of the flash.
The only choice for you that I know of is to create a bootflash on a good
4500
router and put it on the bad 4500. This is an easy process. If I remember 
correctly, the bootflash stick is the one farthest away from the edge of the 
4500.
