Hi Cheekin, AFAIK, the syntax for the area nssa is:
area area-id nssa default-information-originate which will generate a type 7 default into the NSSA area (NSSA ABR or NSSA ASBR only). So I think the 'metric-type 1' might confuse it. What happens when you leave 'metric-type 1' off ? I think that a default route of type 1 will only show up in the routing table when you use the default-information-originate metric-type 1 in router config mode, e.g.: router ospf 1 default-information-originate metric-type 1 Hope this helps.
