FREE access to Catalyst 3920 and Olicom 8601 to compare!!

I had posted some token switches to the list a while back and then quickly
sold out the next day. I have a few more of these.
These are Olicom 8601 Token Ring Switches. They are identical to the
Catalyst 3900 except these do not have CDP or VTP. They do allow you to
create vlans (trCRF, trBRF, etc), spanning tree, snmp, etc all the same
other menus and fucntionality as the 3920. These are 20 ports. The
operating system used on these was developed by Cisco and Olicom. Olicom
used it on there switches, which Cisco put there name on and sold as
Catalyst 3900/3920's.
Unlike the Olicom 8600, you cannot directly load Cat3900 OS on this, you
just leave the Olicom OS on it, which like I said is the same as the
Catalyst OS just no VTP/CDP. Great for learning CCIE lab stuff on. The
Cisco OS would work on these, but the eeprom would have to be changed to
report back a different device ID...........but it will load, in fact,
when you load the OS, it boots up but says right before the login prompt
"INVALID DEVICE ID".........
Anyways, as they are they work great, are clean, and CHEAP! Definitly
better than a simulator, and more affordable than a cat39xx.

Also, I am willing to allow FREE access into my lab to compare both the
Catalyst 3920 and the Olicom 8601 side by side if you like. All I ask
is that you be responsible and dont go setting passwords on these things.
