My take - do what you enjoy and what your company has available. Surely
there are certain parts of networking that you like and others that you
loathe. Try to understand what opportunities your company has available
and
go for it. Barring that, and in a good economy, jump to another company
that will allow you to do what you enjoy (obviously, this may not be such
a
good idea right now).
