Here's why it matters: I had a discussion with Paul Borghese (owner of
Groupstudy) a while back regarding messages on this list that are from
people trying to tout their websites or products. As long as the messages
are helping someone with a problem on this list (which you were, and that's
cool) and the person writing the message makes note of their involvement
with the product or service, then the message is in good taste. Paul doesn't
want this list to become a list of advertisements for anyone who has a Cisco
product to sell, which I can understand. That's why whenever I mention CCxx
Productions, Network Learning, Quizware, or Boson (whom I'm not too fond of
right now) when trying to help someone with a certification question or
trying to help them save money on their certification study materials, I
make note of any involvement that I've had with them in the past, present,
or future.
