Hi Nabil, If you want to ensure your NLRI is propogated through the net on the T1 actively before any possible DR scenarios take place I would recommend prepending your AS number a bunch of times (5-6 times should be more than enough) on the T1 backup link for your outbound route-map.
This would ensure the global networks have your prefix in the RIB and if withdraws occur for your NLRI from UUNET and Sprint then traffic would flow towards the T1 once it's active and installed in the routers FIB. This example should get what you want accomplished: router bgp 65001 neighbor 192.168.100.1 remote-as 65002 neighbor 192.168.100.1 route-map PREPEND-AS-65001 out route-map PREPEND-AS-65001 set as-path prepend 65001 65001 65001 65001 65001 The above would prepend AS 65001 so the EBGP link on the other side would see 65001 six times (1st one normally + five more from the prepend statement). Make sure UUNET knows your prepending it and tell them why. They won't care since your a paying customer, just good to let them know. Hope this helps! -Julian wrote in message [EMAIL PROTECTED]">news:[EMAIL PROTECTED]... > Greetings, > > We currently have to internet connections, one UUNET and one Sprint with > full routing table.
