Out of curiosity, what do you use to monitor your routers / switches? Commercial application? Homegrown application? Trained monkey?
I currently use NMIS (Network Management Information System available at http://www.sins.com.au/nmis/) I have been toying with the idea of moving over to OpenNMS (www.opennms.org) for a while now and wonder what other people are doing with simple but effective network monitoring/management.
