I am working on cisco pix exam (571) and I found myself confused on some
terms.
I read cisco docs on the web page but it confused me even more.
so, here we go, if someone can put 2 cents into it I will be appreciated.

what is the difference between
nat (inside) 1 0 0
and
nat 1 0 0
one explanation I found is that nat 1 0 0 means "all" inside addresses, but
isn't that the other statement means same?

I am completely lost when to use "netmask" when not. Some statements are
required to have one some not. Is there any rule about it that or I just
have to memorize all.
example
static (inside,outside) 200.1.1.1 10.1.1.1 -->> no netmask statement
interface outside 200.200.200.10 255.255.255.0 -->> no netmask statement
isakmp key mykey address 200.1.1.1 netmask 255.255.255.255
gobal (outside) 200.1.1-200.1.1.20 netmask 255.255.255.0

one more problem, is there any rule when to put inside or outside statements
in parentises and when not too?

Voitek
