Cisco Voice Over Frame Relay, ATM and IP is by the course developers at
Cisco. Steve, Kelly, and Stephen are Cisco training partner instructors who
ported Cisco's course to book format, under contract to Cisco Press, with
Cisco's blessings. As always, this is a difficult chore because some of
Cisco's courses are error-prone and dated. The end result is that the book
is often error-prone and dated also.

But it's probably good enough to pass the test.

The other book mentioned, Integrating Voice and Data Networks, was written
by Scott Keagy. He went to a huge effor to output his wealth of knowlwedge
based on his many years of doing the task in the title(integrating voice and
data networks). While working as an engineer for Pac Bell he helped Cisco
themseleves implement their voice/data network. Note that writing a book
based on your experience and knowledge is very different than porting
somebody else's work to book format. (I just have to make that point every
so often! ;-)

I definitely recommend the Keagy book. It's not a certification book, but it
will help you learn everything you need to know to pass the CVOICE test.

Disclaimer: I was a technical editor for the Keagy book. (I don't get
royalties or compensation beyond the original small fee, however, and don't
gain anything from recommending it. I just think it's a terrific book.)
