Basically, Supervisor I: For the 4003 Chassis (3-slot 4000). Provides layer 2 switching Supervisor II: For the 4006 Chassis (6-slot 4000). Provides layer 2 switching Supervisor III: For the 4006 Chassis (6-slot 4000). Provides layer 2, 3, and 4 switching.
