I don't know how "easy" the exam is, as I've not taken it. What I have heard though is that it was/may still be an open-book test.
Also, the study material for it is apparently web-based, as there isn't anything in hard-copy... at least that is what I've been told- have not been able to confirm for sure. Maybe someone else will have a more definitive answer. At least I hope so.
