I have that equipment, but you can't simulate speeds of 2Mbps with that cable (at least I couldn't, only up to 512 Kbps, I think this is a limitation of RS-232), I think that with V35 Female DCE and V35 Male DTE you can simulate speeds over 512 Kbps...
