Can someone please tell me why if you only set an enable password on a router like enable password password
and then set the line vty 0 4 line vty 0 4 exec-timeout 0 0 password 7 00131C140F0F09030A330D logging synchronous login local You get prompted for a username coming in from a telnet session when no username is set ? So then I would have to do username user privledge 15 password password to allow access through telnet? I dont understand that behavior.
