You're nearly right ... Your router has 8 MB of FLASH but 4 MB of DRAM (2 MB are used for main memory and 2 MB for I/O shared memory) -> maybe a 2 MB SIMM and 2 MB of onboard DRAM. Please check this link for more details : http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/63/arch_2500_5750.shtml
