Hey folks, 6000 and 6500 switches are IOS based and do MLS, right? Cisco's
website says so, but they they say something confusing on their Configuring
IP MLS webpage under "hardware requirements":

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/lan/cat5000/rel_5_2/layer3/mls.htm

and make it sound like only the 2926G and 5000/5500 series do MLS.

Is there something significantly different about how the 6x00 series handles
MLS? Evidently they use a different software, and different routing
hardware, MSFC and PFC instead of the 5x00 NFFC. But it's still L3/L4
switching/MLS, right?

Hmmm. . . your experience with these products is appreciated.
