I've spent the last three months updating Cramsession, Boson and Quizware
test preparation materials, so I've been buried in this for a while now. I
would definitely agree that the new blueprint is much harder then before;
and I think Bernard's suggestion about preparing as if for the lab is a
great idea.

I would, however, like to offer a slightly different perspective on this.
Many people who passed the old written exam were nowhere near ready to face
a lab attempt. From this point forward, the people enter the lab for the
first time will be in a better position to pass; and that might save you
time and money in the long run. I feel like what you need to know for the
new written is more relevant, not just for the lab, but in the real world at
work as well.

Perhaps I'm just being overly optimistic, but I don't see this as a pure
negative... Just my $.02, let's see if I'm just as well-disposed after I
spend the long weekend writing test questions on QoS... :)

Thanks all, and good luck with your studying. Please let me know if I can
do anything to help...
--- Dennis
