Historically, there has been a list of equipment that can be in the lab. One question to ask is whether CallManager, for example, could run on any of it. Admittedly, the examinee was never asked to program the ATM switch to which the ATM interfaces were connected. OTOH, the examinee was never asked to test ATM functions that require switch programming. At least some points of reference.
