I am about to embark on my CCNP training, I would be very grateful for any advice as how to go about getting this Cert. At present I am gathering lab equipment for home use, does anyone have any suggestions as to what equipment I should get? i.e. what is essential & what is nice to have! Also if anyone can recommend any good study guides, or places to look for relevant information, (obviously I've found one good place :-) ). I think it may be worth mentioning I don't presently work in a Networking environment, I am an Engineer on Networked peripherals, which is what has got me interested in this field in the first place. I passed my CCNA earlier this year. Any advice most gratefully accepted.
