The only place I have experience with "set" commands is on CLI based switches, such as the 4000, 5000, 6000 series. On those platforms, instead of having global and interface configuration modes, you do everything from privileged exec mode using set commands. What exactly are you trying to accomplish? Maybe we can help you get there.
