Hi, I have a question on EtherChannel that is puzzling me..
Let's say we have 2 switches with EtherChannel running between them. There are 4 FastEthernet link inside this EtherChannel (namely link 1,2,3,4). There are 2 workstations at each end of the switch. The traffic flow between this 2 stations is using link 1 to transfer data. My question is if link 1 is down, what would happen to the 2 station's traffic? I would predict the traffic would flow through link 2. If my prediction is correct, my second question is what criteria/algorithm the switches will think that the traffic should use link 2 and NOT link 3 and 4? Thanx.
