I'm studying with the goal of taking the exam at the end of the month. I've read Bruno's book and the NLI study guide (with the new exam update). Both have a fairly superficial review of the topics, and some fairly basic questions. Ive been supplementing this with both Doyle books, several MPLS books, and Im looking for a good book on QoS issues. Ive also been spending quite a bit of time on my pod.
Ive downloaded boson#1, 2 and 3. Two is useless; the others seem good. #3 had 600 questions and seemed the hardest to me. Lots of troubleshooting and MPLS. I hope thats useful. Next to loads of other resources and books, I use the Ciscopress Exam Certification Guide by A. Bruno. For this book there are some reviews on amazon.com, which mention that this book has nowhere the level of the new exam. On the other hand, I did the old CCIE written 1.5years ago, the CCNP and recently CCIP, which should fill some gaps. Anyway, I've just tried the sample exam which comes with this book on cdrom and got a mark of nearly 90%. With Boson 3 I got 75% in my first attempt. How close are this tests to the real exam? Could anybody who already took the exam and probably used the same resources share some thoughts about that? Thanks a lot Lars Do you Yahoo!?
