Hi folks, Description: serial line on 3640 and/or 1601 won't stay up; getting the usual "line protocol is down" message; I have LOTS of CRC errors on the line, so it seems like it is a config problem.
Problem is the following: 1. I think my config is ok 2. carrier says his line and my premises NTU (carrier's box) is ok from me to ISP 3. ISP says their config is ok and his line is ok from him to my premises NTU 4. If I am in loopback mode, I cannot keep my line up However, if ISP has his line in loopback, my line stays up! As soon as he turns up his line, I go down. Any idea? Many thanks in advance.
