I am talking about ppp over serial (BCRAN topic) but not remote access with modems, aux ports, or asynch ports. Take a standard back to back router1 serial0 to router2 serial0, each with configured IPs. Keep this picture in mind, but replace one of the routers with a PC. Back to back WAN connection from PC to router's serial0. I think finding a serial port with a driver that allows tcp/ip to bind on it, is the correct way to describe the obstacle here? _________________________________________________________________ The new MSN 8: smart spam protection and 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail Message Posted at: http://www.groupstudy.com/form/read.php?f=7&i=57032&t=56885 -------------------------------------------------- FAQ, list archives, and subscription info: http://www.groupstudy.com/list/cisco.html Report misconduct and Nondisclosure violations to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
