I've noticed from doing several Google searches that back in '96 or so there were tons of huge, nonsense postings to news.admin.net-abuse.misc that are composed of hundreds of random words thrown together. There are quite a few postings of this sort and for the life of me I can't figure out what these were for.
If for no other reason than historical curiosity, do any of you know what those postings were used for? Thanks, John (who apparently has too much time on his hands today.)
