Can you give me a small diagram of what your talking about also you say PIX client are you talking about the Cisco VPN client? Here is what I have and sounds like what you want except I have a pix firewall doing PAT.
My setup and it works like a charm 8Pc's-------PIX---dslmodem------Internet------CorporateVPN3030 load balancing In this setup I can vpn into my corporate netowork no problem and I am using PAT but you have to make sure you turn transparent tunneling on the Cisco Client. Edward ipsec will work with PAT.
