Me too. :-) It doesn't sound like he has any detailed information. Also, this sounds a little clueless: "The people who are writing the (Internet engineering) drafts are running out of financing because people aren't listening." What financing do they get??? I guess most of them are employed and their employers support their research, and the economic disaster that we're in right now could be a small factor. On the other hand, a lot of protocol designers are so dedicated to what they do, they would probaby do it for free. But I am impressed with the discussion we have had. It's been informative.
