I thought the dialer enable-timeout is used on the callback server and
determines how long the callback server will wait (after initial callback
negotiation and subsequent disconnection) before dialing back the client. It
seems to work pretty well on my lab.

I thought the dialer wait-for-carrier command was supposed to be used on the
callback client and determines how long the router should wait for a
callback. Cisco recommend setting this to twice the dialer enable-timeout on
the server if I understand it correctly. But playing around with that
tonight it doesn't seem to be too critical, at least not for isdn.

If I set the wait-for-carrier time longer than the enable-timeout (as
recommended) then when the return call is placed the client recognizes it is
a return-call and says so. When I set the server to dial back after two
minutes but the client to only wait for 5 seconds, then I get a message on
the client about 45 seconds after the call is dropped saying that no
callback was received. When the server does dialback the connection is
successful but there is no obvious console output that the call is a
callback. It seems to decide that the callback isn't going to happen and
forgets about it, then just accepts the eventual callback as a new incoming
call. This might not be strictly true because I noticed the client still
includes the total time from the intial call and callback request where it
shows the "current call connected" statistic from the show dialer command.

I've put the two debug outputs below.
