I'd like to mention to writers and editors the availability of
Resources for College Libraries (look it up on WP), formerly Books for
College Libraries, produced jointly by the ALA and Bowker. The online
version is just out this month, and most large academic libraries will
have it now or at least soon. It may help in getting started for
upgrading the WP reference lists. It should usually be at the right level for us & if not, please let me know, for additional resources will be periodically added. (I did have some involvement in the project, as you've guessed, but Marcus Elmore of ALA is the editor in chief.)
