All, We have been occasionally jousting with non-members on the CZ Forums (http://forum.citizendium.org), which has too often wasted the time that our contributors have set aside for improving CZ itself. Therefore, after discussion, the Constabulary has decided that the Citizendium Forums will be Citizens-only, with the exception of the "Non-member discussion" board, here:
http://forum.citizendium.org/index.php/board,73.0.html Non-members can also use "General help," here: http://forum.citizendium.org/index.php/board,18.0.html At the same time, we have finally decided to require the use of real names on the forums as well; there is simply no good reason why the wiki should require real names but not the forums. So here are the new forums rules, briefly: (1) The CZ Forums are Citizens-only. Non-Citizens may use only the "Non-member discussion" and "General help" boards. Non-Citizens posts elsewhere will be summarily deleted. (2) All must now use their own real names. To edit your displayed name, click on Profile > Account Related Settings. (3) Citizens must now link to their CZ user pages. To edit your signature, click on Profile > Forum Profile Information. You can find a copy of these rules in the upper right hand part of the forums, the "news box." Thanks for your attention!
