All, Well, summer's here. I hope those of you in academe will dive in, with all that extra time! ;-) I have to say, I envy those of you who can work on *content* as much as you do on CZ. Writing articles and working with others on articles is great fun, I think, but I don't have much time to do it (casually) given everything *else* I've got to do for the project.
I thought I should let you know: in June I'm probably going to be harder to reach than usual, because I've got four different presentations. And I rarely give the same presentation twice. This Thursday, June 7, it's the keynote for the Society for Scholarly Publishing in San Francisco. The next week, June 13, I'll be in Portland, Oregon, at my alma mater, Reed College, giving a keynote for the Consortium of Liberal Arts Colleges. The following week I'll go further up the West Coast, to Seattle--actually, a small company in Redmond. And then finally I'll be giving a virtual presentation to HP. This was totally unplanned on my part...I just have a hard time saying "no," that's all, and everybody asked for June. I will be flying out to the West Coast each time...fun fun... Then July and some of August the little family will probably be spending 4-6 weeks in Russia. I've done that before--I'll have Internet access (dialup). I might actually have *more* time than usual for CZ during that period. Anyway, I *will* be in contact for the most part, and I'm going to try to keep as much on top of everything as I can, and you should still see me on the wiki. I just might be slightly less responsive at certain times. --Larry _______________________________________________ Citizendium-l mailing list [email protected] https://lists.purdue.edu/mailman/listinfo/citizendium-l
