Thom, not really--more of a classroom assignment status.  The basic idea is
that CZ sets aside a small number of topics for a university course
(graduate level work, I believe) to work on exclusively.  The professor acts
as editor with respect to these topics, i.e., he can approve them, or not.
They revert to general CZ control at the end of the semester.
