All,

History editor and bibliography expert Richard Jensen and I have worked
on some rules for bibliographies:

http://en.citizendium.org/wiki/CZ:Bibliography

They should be valid for the most part even if we don't have
bibliographies on subpages. But I wanted to have the rules written as
if we were going to have bibliographies on subpages, because I want the
full set of subpage instructions, under development on pages accessible
via this page

http://en.citizendium.org/wiki/CZ:Subpage_Pilot

to be available to the Editorial Council.

There is one sort of addition that needs to be made. If anybody has a
copy of the Chicago Manual of Style handy, you might use it to add an
"Examples" section to "Heading and format standards." Surely there's
somebody out there who is as wonky as I am about this sort of thing. (I
mean, someone other than Richard Jensen.)
