If anybody is interested in doing a slickified version of our upper left logo, as well as a new background graphic (the grey skyline along the top of the wiki), I think that would be very nice. People have been making all sorts of odd graphics lately and so I don't see why you wouldn't want to help with this. :-) Please don't redo the logo concept. But for example the word "beta" should be smaller than it is now.
Either post a link to the forums or else e-mail me, and if it looks slicker than what we have now (bear in mind that my graphic arts standards are not particularly high) I'll pass it along to the tech guys for upload. Also, it would also be great if someone could wrangle, viz., a very attractive but small "button" graphic, for an end-of-year funding drive, to place at the top, sidebar, and bottom of every page. (So it should fit in those spaces without expanding them.) Can you either create such a thing yourself, or else ask someone else to do that? It should have a field that I can use to update the amount raised, as well as direct links to "Give here" <https://secure.groundspring.org/dn/index.php?aid=15045> and "Why support us?" <URL TBD>.
