All, Just a general reminder for those who need it: when you start a new article from scratch, always write
[[Category:CZ Live]] at the bottom of the article (actually it doesn't matter if it's at the bottom, but it's a good practice). Also, if it's a stub when you're done with it (under 100 words or so) then also write: [[Category:Stub Articles]] Finally, pick at least one (appropriate) workgroup from this list http://en.citizendium.org/wiki/CZ:Workgroups and put something of the following form on the page: [[Category:WORKGROUP Workgroup]] E.g., [[Category:Visual Arts Workgroup]] There's a REALLY easy way to do this. Just use "the easy way" found via the "Start article" link on the left side of the page: http://en.citizendium.org/wiki/CZ:How_to_start_a_new_article That little tool automatically adds the above three categories to new articles. I think that if we had been good about this, we'd have over 1,600 CZ Live now. If you want to go back and check to make sure people's articles are properly categorized, go to toolbox > Special pages > New pages, or here's a direct link: http://en.citizendium.org/wiki/Special:Newpages Look for only the non-subpages (the pages without / in the title). Of course you should ignore the diligent work of Subpagination Bot. :-) Human-created pages are helpfully marked with the color yellow on that page. Of course, if you're using subpages, you probably know all these things. :-) --Larry _______________________________________________ Citizendium-l mailing list [email protected] https://lists.purdue.edu/mailman/listinfo/citizendium-l
