All, Resolution 0007 provides that a new chair is to be elected each year, chosen from among the members who joined the previous year. Therefore, I have stepped down as Chair of the Editorial Council; my position as Chair was always meant to be temporary.
I would like to announce that Prof. Supten Sarbadhikari is now Chair of our Editorial Council. Previously Secretary for the Council, he has done an excellent job keeping the body running smoothly and according to our adopted rules. The Chair is now busy completing his role as Selection Official, composing a new Council member list that includes authors as well as editors--you've seen evidence of this on these lists. Due to the vigor of our new proposals system (http://en.citizendium.org/wiki/CZ:Proposals), we've got plenty of work now for the Editorial Council to do! As Editor-in-Chief, I will continue as a nonvoting member of the Council.
