Well, as always seems to happen with discussions of minor points of grammar and punctuation, messages submitted to the list on the "ending preposition" question are getting rather impolite, so I am nixing further discussion of this topic, no matter how burningly important. As Hayford quoted Churchill (this I will let through), "This is nonsense up with which I will not put!"
