This evening at 8 p.m. PST (4 a.m. Thursday, UTC) I will attempt to load a new
database on our database server in preparation for bringing up the test wiki.
The last time I tried to do this, the database server crashed. We believe we
have found the problem and the database server should not crash on this
attempt. However, it is not completely certain that we have identified why the
server crashed the last time, so I will be keeping a very close eye on the load
as it proceeds.

Since a database load stresses the I/O system on the database server, users may
notice sluggish performance during the load. That is normal and should last no
more than a few hours.
