My dear Ponnukuttan sent me a beautiful poetry by Ravindranath Tagore . I
thought that for a change, let me enlighten the yahoo group
with Tagore's poetry which was my School prayer in Mangalore.( 1956)
"Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high ,
where knowledge is free,
where the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow domestic walls
,
where words come out from the depth of truth,
where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection,
where the clear stream of reason has not lost it's way into the dreary desert
sand of dead habits ,
where the mind is led forward by thee into ever widening thought and action
into that heaven of freedom my father let my country awake. "
Comments.First highlight - Where do u think that the spirit comes alive among
some of our members ?
Second highlight - Country now is broken up into trillions fragments.
Cosmopolitan coastal districts are broken into pieces .
Third highlight- Dead habits are increasing by the hour. Thanks to leaders who
run to Astrologers to know their fate instead of banking on their
performance. Spend millions to redo their houses at the cost of some one else (
including tax payers ) when their vastu consultants ask them to do instead of
merely looking into air and light . magnetic forces are relevant if the
construction is fragile.
