Here is the job description. · Type (Ascential Engineer or currently known as Information Server Engineer) · Description of skills needed including experience level * * *Following skill sets are must:* * * 5 years of Ascential DataStage Administration (Server/Parallel) -- Enterprise 7.5/8.1 Version. ( Server & Parallel Environment Set Up) Experience Installing and Configuring Ascential/IIS 7.5.x/8.x versions on P-Series platforms Experience Installing and Configuring Ascential/IIS 7.5.x/8.x versions on GRID platform 5 years of AIX/Linux OS ( Shell Scripting etc) 5 years of Ascential DataStage Development. (Server and Parallel Jobs) 5 years of Hands on experience on AIX Tuning *Good to Have:* * * Good understanding of Oracle, SQL Server,DB2 and TeraData database systems Good understanding of P-Series/GRID platforms Good understanding of HACMP and DR architecture and set up Good understanding of CONTROL M or other Scheduling tools.
